How to Create an Account with Tontiin

In this video, we’ll walk you through the step-by-step process of creating your Tontiin account.

First, make sure you’ve installed the Tontiin app on your smartphone.
If you’re using an Android device, search for Tontiin on the Google Play Store.
If you're using an iPhone, you can download it from the Apple App Store.

Once the app is installed, open it. You’ll see a welcome screen the first time you launch it.
Tap “Start your journey” to begin.

You’ll then be taken to a screen where you can enter your phone number.
If you're not in Cameroon, you can change the selected country. Otherwise, leave it set to Cameroon.

Now enter your phone number without the country code, and tap “Continue.”
A new screen will appear, prompting you to enter a verification code.

You should receive a verification code on WhatsApp, sent to the phone number you provided.
If you don’t receive the code, tap the “Resend Code” button.

Copy the verification code from WhatsApp and paste it into the input field.
Then tap “Verify Code.”

If the code is correct, you’ll be taken to the profile setup screen where you can enter your name and other details.
Fill in your information and tap “Save Changes.”

🎉 That’s it! You’ve successfully created your Tontiin account.

You’ll now land on your dashboard, where you can view your balance, active savings groups, and transaction history.

At this point, you’re not yet part of any group.
